Question
What size are images in the ANR Repository?
Answer
In 2001 we determined the best size of images for full-page viewing in PowerPoint is the PPT default 1024 x 768 and have been putting images in the Media Library and the subsequent Repository at that size ever since. The images from IPM were imported in 2009 at IPM's default size of slightly less than half of ours. That's perfectly adequate if one does not plan to fill the screen but instead use the image with text also on the screen. There is a link on each IPM image page to request a larger IPM Library image which is responded to by IPM personnel who will provide the requester a higher resolution image. Some IPM images have digitized hi-rez files along with the smaller JPEGs already in the Repository that the user can access themselves.
