How do I download an ANR eBook for my device?

Apple iPad

  1. Some of our eBooks are priced; others are available for free. For a priced eBook, you must first complete your eBook purchase through anrcatalog, which will send you an email that contains your download link. For a free eBook, just use the download link in the online product description.
  2. You can choose to download the EPUB directly to your iPad via WiFi or broadband connection or download it to your computer and transfer the EPUB to your iPad by means of a dock or USB cable. 
  3. If you download directly to your iPad, use your iPad's email software to open the anrcatalog email message. Tap the download link in the email. The EPUB file will automatically be stored where you eBook reader software can easily access it. Congratulations--You're done!
  4. If you download through your computer, use your email software to open the anrcatalog email message and find the download link that it contains. Windows PC: Right-click the download link. Mac: Hold down the Control key and click on the download link.
  5. Choose “Save Link As…” or “Download Linked File As…” and save the file to your computer’s desktop.
  6. Open iTunes and connect your iPad to your computer by means of a dock or USB cable.
  7. In iTunes, click “File” and then click (for PC) “Add File to Library…” or (for Mac) “Add to Library…”
  8. Select the EPUB file from your desktop and click “Open.”
  9. Click on the “Books” section of your Library.
  10. Locate the file you downloaded and drag it to your iPad Library.
  11. Eject your iPad from your computer and remove it from the dock or USB cable. Congratulations--You took the long way around, but you've done it!

Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony Reader, Amazon Kindle, other devices

  2. Connect your e-reader device to your computer with a USB cable or Bluetooth connection.
  3. Open the anrcatalog email message and find the link that it contains. Windows PC: Right-click the download link. Mac: Hold down the Control key and click on the download link.
  4. Choose “Save Link As…” or “Download Linked File As…”
  5. Navigate to the "documents" folder on your e-reader device and click "Save." (Kindle users: First save the file to your computer’s desktop; then use a conversion utility to change the EPUB file to MOBI format before you save it to the “documents” folder on your device.)
  6. Eject your e-reader device from your computer.
